My name’s Marcus. I’m just a dude that has a passion for Computer Science in general, with a soft spot for Security, Operating Systems, Computer Networks and Infrastructure, Cost Optimization and High Performance.
I’m currently one of the roots (SRE/SysAdmins) handling the infrastructure / network of the Department of Informatics at the Federal University of Paraná.
I’m also a MSc Student, currently studying container/virtualization security, and do most of my work for C3SL (yup, we host official Linux mirrors). I’m a big fan of Free and Open-Source Software, and hope to use and contribute as much as I can.
Other than what’s related to work, I enjoy learning Math & Physics. I also enjoy reading very much, specially Sci-Fi, and on the non-fiction side: History and Philosophy.
Eventually I might start uploading book reviews here.

Anyways, in this website you’ll find me rambling about a random topic that picked my interest enough to write about (my blog), and projects I’m working / have worked on, and found interesting enough to share.
The latest idea I had is to store my learning / teaching notes here. In no way I plan to make a full teaching course or anything similar, the plan is basically to share how I learn or teach. Treat these notes as dafts if you’re going to read them.
